Message from the Vice Chancellor

Dear Young Friends,
- The ICFAI University Nagaland (IUN) was established by an Act of the Nagaland State Legislative Assembly (vide Act No.2 of 2006, dated 30th August 2006, under the notification No. LAW/ACT-11/2006, dated 19th September 2006). Consequently, the University has been empowered by UGC to award degrees, under section 22 of UGC Act 1956.
- The University is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities
- It is a matter of honour and immense pleasure that ICFAI Society has given me the opportunity to lead the ICFAI University Nagaland.
- Higher education has changed globally and has remarkable growth world-wide and we in India have also become competitive.
- ICFAI University Nagaland has geared up to meet global challenges by using latest technology and teaching pedagogy.
- It is always our endeavour and will be on creating a platform for quality knowledge enhancement and bridging the distance between academia and industry with a focus to bring in efficiency and competence amongst our students with combined effort of knowledge and skills.
- ICFAI University Nagaland has been delivering quality education by developing young minds by instilling in them ethical, moral values and providing leadership and innovative skills.
- Since the inception, the University has been in the forefront in extracurricular and Co-curricular activities which helps to bring out the best amongst young minds and their holistic development.
- Being one of the eleven Universities of the ICFAI family, we are serving this part of the region with adequate infrastructure, well trained and qualified faculties and staff, with up-to-date course structures, the University is at forefront in creating and disseminating learning experience and skills development through teaching, research, publishing and consulting.
